Lutherans and Roman Catholics to join together in common commemoration of the Reformation

2017 is the commemoration of the 500 years of Reformation. Bishop Gonia has extended an invitation to the Roman Catholic Dioceses that overlap our territory to share in ecumenical commemorations, which will take the form of Common Prayer, using a resource prepared by the Liturgical Task Force of the Lutheran-Roman Catholic Commission on Unity. Prayer services, thus far, are scheduled as follows:
