Ina Anders, President of the RMSWO, sends her greetings and shares her thoughts about the power and presence of the organization and the need to get more women in the synod involved in the life of the Rocky Mountain Synodical Women's Organization.

Greetings from Your President

Dear Sisters in Christ,

I pray you all had a delicious Thanksgiving, a Blessed Christmas and A Happy New Year!!

New Year. Wow. I'm writing this just before Christmas and I'm amazed at how fast the time flies. I don't know where this year has gone. We are preparing for the Convention in September and I know it will be here soon.
I was very happy to spend time with so many of you this last year. Traveling was a bit tricky at times but the outcome was always pleasing.

I invite you to become part of what you want the RMSWO to be this next year. "God’s Work Our Hands". Sometimes I, like many of you, could use an extra pair of hands.

Corrie ten Boom once said, "Every experience God gives us, every person He puts in our lives is the perfect preparation for the future that only He can see. How fitting that this fits every one of us".

To Serve. That is what we do. Please prayerfully consider serving on the RMSWO Board in 2010. There are no other requirements than to plan for what it is God wants us to do for Him. To use the finances that we are given to help women achieve their goals for God's purpose. The meetings are 4 times a year and all of your expenses are paid. Travel, food, hotel rooms. And with your abilities and gifts so many things can be accomplished throughout our Synod and beyond.

Casper ten Boom writes, "all our times are in God's hands, even the difficult ones". Theologians call this the sovereignty of God, which simply said means that He who is all loving & always good determines the paths His children take, allowing pain & suffering to come to them for an eventually good purpose.

I hope to see many of you soon. With God's love and affection I am humbly yours.

Your Sister in Christ
Ina
