About the Event
Join us for a gathering in Albuquerque New Mexico at the Pueblo Cultural Center.  We will convene Rocky Mountain Synod conversation around the potential of advancing the work of outreach to and with American Indian and Alaska Native people.

This gathering will include an orientation to the lives and issues of American Indian, Alaska Native peoples in the United States and in the Rocky Mountain Synod area. Workshops and activities to better understand the work of New Starts within the ELCA, and meaningful dialogue to shape our actions, engaging ministry.

Along with the personal benefits of new understanding you will gain from this experience, we value your contributions as the work of outreach moves forward as ministry together.

Relationships and identifying shared ministry are essential in addressing the work of this potential outreach.  This gathering is the first, of opportunities to transform how the ELCA participates in ministry with and among our indigenous brothers and sisters in Christ.

Come, join us in an intentional space to grow in our understanding, acknowledge the power to transform the relationships within our synod, the witness of the church and service to those whom God has called us.
