Candidacy Discernment Retreat

The RMS is offering an Online Candidacy Discernment Retreat Saturdays April 6th and 20th from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. MT by ZOOM. The retreat will be led by Rev. Diana Linden-Johnson, Assistant to the Bishop for Rostered Ministers in the Rocky Mountain Synod, and Rev. DanaLee Simon, an ELCA pastor and spiritual director living in Salt Lake City, UT. In addition to an explanation of the Candidacy process, conversation on the Wholeness Wheel, and an opportunity for group spiritual direction, participants will also engage with seminary admissions staff and hear call stories from a current ELCA candidate, deacon, and pastor. These presenters include voices from the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities.
